Secretary Soon
Mickey Bird has been reliably informed that a new general secretary for the Fijian Teachers Association will be named soon.
Three names have been shortlisted. The selection committee will meet at a hotel in the West tomorrow to make the final selection.
Rubbish in buses
It is always a sad sight to walk into buses and see rubbish inside.
Some passengers eat and drink soft drinks in the bus and leave their rubbish in the bus when they get off.
Passengers should learn to take their rubbish with them.
Cattle cut
Passengers on a Tacirua bus traveling to Suva, when passing Tamavua village saw villagers slaughtering two cattles just beside the roadside.
Mickey Bird questions the legality of this.
Shouldn’t it be done in a slaughterhouse?
