New CEO Appointed For CCF

The Citizens’ Constitutional Forum (CCF) has announced the appointment of Sara Bulutani Mataitawakilai as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organisation.

The chairperson of the CCF Board of Directors, Tessa Mackenzie, said the board members were delighted that Mr Mataitawakilai accepted their offer.

Mr Mataitawakilai has extensive experience in management and rural community development; a former primary school teacher and more recently at the top of provincial level governance for the Cakaudrove Provincial Council Office as Roko Tui Cakaudrove. He served with the CCF Education team for three years and is familiar with the CCF and its work.

Mr Mataitawakilai studied at Lautoka Teachers College gaining a Certificate in Teaching, before moving on to University of the South Pacific (USP), gaining his first degree in Education and he has a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance and a Master’s Degree in Governance from USP.

He will commence work at CCF at the end of July.Ms Mackenzie said the board and staff of CCF looked forward to working with Mr Mataitawakilai and were confident that CCF was in very capable hands for the foreseeable future.
