Bowlers Aim For 6

Team Fiji men bowlers aim to win six gold medals at the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea which starts on Saturday.
Team manager Curtis Mar said with eight gold medals up for grabs, players have set a target.
“This will be the first time we will be playing on an artificial turf and it will be a new challenge.
“With eight gold medals up for grabs, we are aiming to grab six,” Mar said.
The men and women bowlers got together in Nadi last weekend for their final team bonding session.
“We are grateful to Bank South Pacific for supporting us as this will also serve as the Asia/Pacific Games build-up which will be held in New Zealand later in the year,” Mar said.
Women team manager Usa Kalim said they are ready for the challenge.
“We are used to playing on grass but we have to adapt to the synthetic turf.
“We need to be mentally tough playing in a new environment and we should be ready for the challenge,” Kalim said.
The bowling competition is set for July 13-18.
