Fiji Water unveiled its new 750 ml bottled water product Fiji Fit at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva last night.

The new Fiji Fit bottles will officially be launched in August and last night guests at a cocktail held at Grand Pacific Hotel were given a sneak preview of the new look bottles.

The company celebrated twenty years of operation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) and by honouring the company’s longest serving employees.

Fiji Water President, David Ricananti gave the guests an overview of the company’s history over the past 20 years in which he highlighted the major contribution that Fiji Water has made, both to the economy of Fiji and to the wider community through the company’s programme of corporate social responsibility.

Fiji Water CEO Rokoseru Nabalarua welcomed the signing of the MOU with WAF at the celebration as an opportunity to provide funding that would assist 15 rural communities to pay their one-tenth community contributions towards the development of their respective water supply system.

WAF CEO, Opetaia Ravai, said that Fiji Water’s assistance to these rural communities “would go a long way, not only in improving their water supply systems,” but that the ensuring effect would be an “overall improvement in their social-economic advancement.”
