Ba has settled for fifth spot in the final round of the Rewa Galaxy Premier League yesterday.

What happened: The Kiniviliame Naika- captained Ba side defeated Labasa 6-1at Govind Park, Ba.

In the 9th minute Naika opened the floodgates beating goalkeeper Akuila Mateisuva.

In the 25th minute Ravinesh Karan scored the equaliser but their celebration did not last long after Sandeep Nair elbowed Abbu Zahid. Jone Vesikula scored from the penalty.

Halftime: Ba 2- 1 Labasa

Ba came into the second spell organised with goals to Josevata Neibuli, Mavileko Nakama, Avinesh Warran Suwamy and Samuela Nabenia.

Comments:

Ba captain Kiniviliame Naika said: “It was a good match. Our boys played good football.”

Labasa captain Gabrielle Matanisiga said: “ A lot is out there to play for and we will now focus on the INKK Battle of the Giants.”
