Navosa U18 Upset Ratu Navula College

Navosa Central College upset Ratu Navula College 12-8 in the Western Zone Secondary Schools semifinal at Garvey Park in Tavua yesterday.
Navosa Central is the new holders of the Voravora Cup.
Navosa Central will now meet Natabua High in the final of the U18 competition to determine the champions of the Western Division.
Natabua High, in the other semi-final, edged Cuvu College 11-10.
In the U19 grade Ra High defeated DAV Ba 19-5 and Sigatoka Andhra beat Xavier College 12-8.
Defending U17 champions Natabua High was too strong for Nasikawa Vision College 51-5 while Ratu Navula dominated Xavier College 27-10.
A new winner will be crowned in the U16 after Natabua High bowed out to Cuvu College 21-20, while favourites Ratu Navula beat Tilak High 29 – 3.
In the U15 champions Natabua is a force to reckon with in the 28-10 victory over Sigatoka Methodist while Ratu Navula beat Lautoka Muslims 25 – 14. Competition co-ordinator Lionel Danford said the competition was getting tough.
“The best is yet to be unveiled and we have to wait for that finalists to represent the west to the national competition.
