Church Launches Choir Uniform

A donation of a new set of uniforms from a visiting minister has given the choir at Ratu Ifereimi Kubukawa Church in Laqere a new lease of life.
The choir launched the new uniforms yesterday.
Ratu Ifereimi Kubukawa Church lay preacher Jolame Dabea said the new uniforms donation was linked through a mutual understanding with the donor.
“It was through our good deed in taking care of church minister Inoke Bolaira on one of his visits and from then on we have been close associates,” he said.
“Reverend Bolaira donated the choir uniforms to us as his token of respect and his tithe.
“Our choir has had uniforms for the past four years and are in need of a change and the donation of the new uniform was indeed timely,” he said.
There were 15 blazers for men and 35 dresses with sulu for women.
Methodist Church Deaconess Siteri Ledua said the uniform colour (green) represented life.
Ratu Ifereimi Kubukawa Church choir leader Jesoni Niunitoga said the uniform meant unity and they were thankful for the kind donation.
