Green Leaf Supply Solutions has opened its new Pacific Wise Building on Denarau Road, Nadi.

Director Gleb Zheloudkov said: “We want to develop the company in three areas.

“They are the furniture factory, prefabricated houses and the hotel and restaurant supplies.

“The investment for the three areas is $700,000 and this assistance is provided by a group of companies based in the U.S and Ukraine.”

He said under this group of companies is another company based in Fiji called “Green Oak” and they will be manufacturing furniture with two brand names which are “Artis” and “Green leaf”.

Both brands will be manufactured in the Pacific Wise Building.

About Green Left

Green Leaf Supply Solutions is originally from Ukraine and specialises in furniture.

“When we discovered the furniture business here and it was obvious we need to get the factory from Ukraine to Fiji,” he said.

“We wanted to build contemporary, classy furniture from a commercial point of view which will be reliable and stylish.”

New Concept

He also described the “building a house in one day” concept. It was coined after he and his business partner Slavik Ilnytsky saw the long process it took to build a house in Fiji.

“We believe that properties are facing the same issues, they are afraid of building and are staying in line with the contractor’s schedule,” he said.

“This is an unfolding house which we assemble within one day, so there are no labour or supply issues. It’s all a one day process,” he said.

“So far we have installed these houses at Beqa lagoon resort for staff accommodation and with this concept we can have rapid construction.”

He said in terms of size preference there are houses that come in 15 square metres, 30 square metres, 40 square metres and 60 square interior options.

An average structure weighs 2.2 tonnes and can be handled with a 3.5 tonne crane and costs $24000.

“This is ideal for businesses want ing to build accommodation for staff or develop their premises such as small laundries.

“It’s multipurpose, saves time and money, and contains a full package with electricity, plumping, windows, doors and a shower,” he said.
