Korean Students Clean Up Nadi Police Station

Korean students from the Edupia Company have undertaken charitable activities around Nadi since 2006 and last Saturday they undertook a clean-up at the Nadi Police Station.

It was their round of charitable visits after visiting the Loloma Home a month ago.

Edupia Company, a home-stay institution in Nadi which nurtures Korean students studying in Fiji, has become notable for providing voluntary services.

The cleaning on the day began at 9am from raking fallen leaves, collecting rubbish and undertaking a general clean-up around the entire compound of the Nadi Police Station. Fifteen 15 students and two staff members of Edupia participated in activity.

“I know that the voluntary works we have done so far in the past few years have contributed to the environmental improvement, “Praneet Prakash, the manager of Edupia, said.

“It makes us so proud when the charitable activities are done and the citizen responds with a happy face.”

Their clean-up to improve the Police station compound was appreciated not only by Police officers but also the people who visited the station.

Maurice Wallace, the office-in-charge of Nadi Police Station, thanked Edupia on behalf of the Nadi Police Station. .
