The Ba River rugby team will take part in the Jerusalem 7s in Weilagi, Taveuni beginning tomorrow.

Team manager Setareki Tuinalevu said the club had produced sevens rugby stars and aimed to produce more.

“Players like Pio Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu and Josua Tusova started their ruby career with club,” Tuinalevu said.

“What we aim to do now is have more players to play for Fiji.

“We want them to earn money from rugby instead doing jobs in the sugar cane fields.

“We are going in there to do business and be involved playing in a new environment.

“Competition will be tough and the boys have been reminded to stay positive regardless of what happens.

“We will give it our best shot.”
