The S&M (Seci & Marseu) designer label under Vou Collection won the FBC Project Jejemon Designer of the Year Award last weekend in Suva.

The label owners – Marist Brothers High School students Seci Burese, 18, and Andre Marseu, 19, have big plans for their product when they leave school.

“We want to do so much and we want to have our own retail and boutique shop, but first our aim is to complete our FSFE (Fiji Seventh Form Examination),” Mr Burese said.

He said they started their S&M label two years ago.

“We once competed against each other in the fashion arena. In 2013, we planned to work together. We left our differences aside and merged our designs under one label,” he said.

“We won the award because of our dedication. It is another good example of the significant success that is yet to come.”

The pair said their passion for fashion designing started at primary school by sketching designs in some school competitions.
