Eighteen-year-old talented model Marie Fall, of Tucson in the United States, leads the catwalk.

“I have maternal links in Matasawalevu in Kadavu and I’m the second-eldest of four siblings,” she said.

The FBC TV Project Jejemon Model of the Year award winner never thought that she would win such an award.

“I am new to the fashion industry and having to think of winning is totally way out of my mind,” she said.

“I just thought of taking part and giving it my best and winning the award as the best model will be one of my best experiences,” she said.

“When I was little, my parents had blessed me and they usually tell me that I will become a model in the future and being here as the FBC TV Project Jejemon model winner is just amazing,” she said.

“My parents unwavering support is just overwhelming and my mum will be really proud of my achievement because I just made her the proudest woman in the world,” she said.

“Being in the limelight is not really me; I would prefer to be laid back and not socialise but then I am glad that I finally pulled through in this event; it has made me into a strong-minded young woman,” she said.
