The Fiji men’s basketball team lost 72-74 to Guam at the Taurama BSP Arena on Wednesday.
The Fijians were unable to handle the pressure from Guam who dominated in the first two quarters leading 26-33.
The last two quarters saw Guam enjoyed most possessions and game ended 64-64 at fulltime.
With two seconds to go, the teams were tied at 72-72 but Guam prevailed in the end.
The Fiji men are now faced with a must win situation in their next two games if they want to make the semifinal this Saturday.
