The Fiji swimming team collected one silver and two bronze medals in day three of the swimming competition at the Taurama Aquatic Centre.

Cheyanne Rova won bronze medal in the women 100m backstroke with a time of 1:08.59 minutes and finished behind New Caledonia Emma Terebo who won gold with a time of 1: 02.60 minutes and Suzannne Afchain of New Caledonia won silver. Fijian Kinisimere Naivalu finished in fourth place with a time of 1:10.39 minutes.

Matelita Buadromo finished won silver in the women’s 400m freestyle with the time of 4:36 minutes and finished behind Lara Grangeon of New Caledonia.

Fiji won their third bronze medal in the mixed 4x50m relay team of Kinisimere Naivalu, Meli Malani, Matelita Buadromo and Carl Probert.
