LK Naitasiri is ready play RC Manubhai Suva at Bidesi Ground in Suva today.

Team manager Atu Kuruibou said the players were positive after their win last week.

“Our win against Northland last week was a major boost for us, especially playing against a tough team like Suva,” Kuruibou said.

“The game against Northland was a really tough one for us but the boys pulled through under pressure which is very important.”

Sitting in fourth place with 27 points, a bonus win could likely push them up the points standing, but Kuruibou said they needeed to do the basic things right.

“Getting four points would be good, but we are more focused on how we perform,” he said.

“We will go in there and do our best, which is all we can do and hope the outcome is positive.”

Meanwhile, RC Manubhai Suva is hoping to have a good game today after coach Salimoni Ravouvou said he was disappointed with last week’s game beating Macuata 24-8.

“We could have done better and made use of the opportunities and though we won, it was still a disappointing game,” he said.

“We are aware of our strengths and weaknesses but we are positive and take the game as it comes.”

The game kicks off at 3pm.
