Kable Sets New Record

Glenn Kable sets a new Pacific Games record in the shotgun double Barrel individual shooting event at the 2015 Pacific Games.
Kable won gold and sets a new target of 121 points erasing the old record of 100points. Close behind was Christian Stephen who shot 120 points and Tahiti settled for bronze with a 104 points.
“I didn’t realise the time there was a new record. In any sport you concentrate and focus on what you have to do,” Kable, 52, said.
The Fijian puts on the pressure and won another gold in the shotgun team event with a total of 295 points. The team led by Kable included Adarsh Datt and Christian Stephen provided the pressure on New Caledonia who settled for silver and Tahiti won bronze medal.
Team Fiji Shooting won bronze medal in the 25 metres pistol team event. They have won three gold medals, one silver and a bronze medal.
In the single barrel event yesterday Team Fiji finished fourth behind New Caledonia who won gold, Tahiti won silver and Samoa won bronze medal. In the single barrel individual event New Caledonia won gold and silver while Samoa settled for bronze medal yesterday,
Team Fiji competes in the point score event today which is their final event.
