The Sigatoka Magistrates Court has remanded murder accused, Hem Ravnit Singh, to appear before the High Court next month.
Singh is charged in relation to the death of his wife Saleshni Lata, 29, of Tagitagi Settlement in Sigatoka.
He appeared before magistrate Tomasi Bainivalu yesterday.
Singh chose to seek Legal Aid assistance.
He will now appear in the High Court in Lautoka on August 4 where a decision will be made on the charge.
He was detained after his wife’s decomposed and partly burned body was discovered by a group of pig hunters.
