Namosi play RC Manubhai Suva today in their new battle gear.

International sporting apparel brand, BLK presented the jerseys yesterday ahead of the feature match of Round Nine of the Skipper Cup competition at Thomson Park in Navua.

Namosi Rugby Union president Samisoni Tuilawaki applauded the assistance.

“Such donation will boost the performance of our players and we applaud BLK,” he said.

BLK general manager Josefa Matau said their assistance was part of their contribution in developing rugby in Fiji.

“We are more than happy to assist the Namosi Rugby Union,” Matau said.

“We hope the assistance will boost the players to up their game against Suva, Northland and Ovalau.”

Meanwhile, RC Manubhai Suva will need to get the basics right if they want to beat Namosi in the 2015 Skipper Cup competition today.

Coach Salimoni Ravouvou, who has not been impressed with his player’s performance in their last two games against Macuata and Tailevu, said they would need to step up this time.

“We want to better our performance in this competition and that means not only getting the basics right but getting all areas of the game right,” he said.

The RC Manubhai Suva-Namosi match kicks off at 3pm.
