Big Bonus Win For Nadi

The Jack’s Nadi team scored a bonus point after defeating Macuata 52 – 17 at Subrail Park in Labasa yesterday.
What happened:
Still unbeaten after the ninth round of the Skipper Cup competition, the jetsetters drew first blood with a try scored by Kolaia Ivi.
Nadi’s Cyrill Reece extended the lead with a penalty before Macuata bounced back with a try to Sosi Daugunu.
But Nadi showed why they are the team to beat replying with tries to Jone Turuva, Meli Roko, Vilive Aria and Aseri Vatunitu.
Halftime: Nadi 32 – 5 Macuata
In the second-half the home side started well but Nadi boys proved they were here to rule with Reece slotting another penalty.
Macuata managed to score through Viliame Gonevula and Farasiko Bale before the visitors answered back with tries by Isaia Vuki and Aseri Vatunitu and Maika Ramasima.
Fulltime: Nadi 52 – 17 Macuata
Big play: Fullback Filipo Daugunu was instrumental in his liner outs.
Star turn: Cyrill Reece played a good game.
