RKS, LMS Top East Clash

Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) is hoping to end their 10-year drought after qualifying for the national quarterfinals in two weeks at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
RKS was awarded the win in the Eastern Zone Secondary Schools finals, after going into sudden death for 10 minutes tied at 6-6.
Eastern Zone president Mesake Tukai said judging by the finals, there will most likely be a repeat of last year’s Under18 finals.
“I would call this match the battle royale because this is a testament to the preparations that the boys have been doing,” Tukai said.
“RKS has had a 10-year drought and they are hungry to end that curse and by the looks of the game today, they may have a chance of doing that.
“This is a do or die situation for them and I know that they will be doing all they can finally win the trophy.
“If everything goes well, this should be a repeat of last year’s U18 final.”
