A man is admitted in hospital after he was allegedly assaulted last Saturday night outside a nightclub in Nausori.
Police sources confirmed that the man was involved in a brawl outside the nightclub where he was allegedly assaulted and left unconscious on the street. He is believed to be a road construction worker.
Complaints were lodged with the Nausori Police and the man was taken to the Wainibokasi Hospital. He was transferred yesterday to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital after his condition worsened.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Henry Brown confirmed the report and said the crime branch in Nausori was handling the case.
