UPDATE: Commissioner And Ravonu Cup Rugby Update
Tourth round of the Commissioner and Ravonu Cup Rugby challenge begins.

The fourth round of the Commissioner and Ravonu Cup Rugby challenge will be held in the Northern Division tomorrow afternoon.

Defending champions Northern Division will take on the Police Special Response Unit at Labasa’s Subrail Park at 3pm.

After a convincing 26-0 victory over the Western Force last week at the Nasova grounds, the Northerners are all set to defend their title on their home turf.

A decision was reached to send the challenging team to the North as part of the Policing through rugby initiative as the sport has been a way of strengthening relations between the Fiji Police and members of the community.

This is also part of the Fiji Police’s build up to the annual Ratu Sukuna Bowl challenge against the Republic of Fiji Military Forces later this year.

The inter-divisional challenge is being conducted to enable the Police put together a formidable team knowing the RFMF will be putting up a fight to retain the prestigious “tanoa” when the two teams battle it out for top honours.
