Golfers Help CWMH With Children’s Medicine

The annual charity golf tournament organised by the Fiji Ship Owners and Agent Association Charity Golf Tournament will be held tomorrow at the Fiji golf club.
The tournament is basically to help children at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWM).
Shipping Services (Fiji) Ltd and Association chairman Jerry Lin said this year will be the ninth year the tournament has been running.
“Whatever money is collected through the event goes to the Fiji Children’s Overseas Treatment Fund.
“A fund administered by a board of trustees at CWM hospital children ward,” Lin said.
He said they had dispersed $2000 the same time last year to CWM to buy medication for the kids.
“There are specific medications that are expensive to afford especially for still born babies. This is where come in.
“Apart from coming in and having a good time at least this is something we do to give back to the community,” he said.
The registration is $20.00per person with attractive prizes up for grabs.
