Marist Brothers Primary School started their preparation for the FMF Chow Games at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.
The annual athletics event is scheduled to be held on November 20-21. “We decided to start early to prepare the students well,” headteacher Felix Magnus said.
“Students need to have ample time to prepare so that we can have the best athletes for our Suva Zone Two meet,” he said.
- St Channel won the one –day meet collecting 51 gold, 48 silver and 53 bronze medals;
- St Vidal was second with 48 gold, 52 silver and 53 bronze medals;
- St Harvey finished third with 45 gold, 54 silver and 36 bronze medals;
- St Xavier was in fourth place with 41 gold, 45 silver and 45 bronze medals.
