The Fijian Ship Owners & Agents Association raised $20, 000 during their annual tournament at the Fiji Golf Club, Suva last Saturday.
A record 144 golfers turned out to support the charity event aimed at assisting the children admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
NPT Agency general manager Greg von Litzheim was overwhelmed with the turnout.
“It was fantastic, the turnout was great,” Litzheim said.
“Last year we had 131 golfers and this is the ninth tournament.” Meanwhile, NPT Agency won the event carding a total score of 113 points. Carpenters Shipping was second with 107 pts while Shipping Services and Williams & Gosling Ltd shared third spot on 104pts.
