The Nausori Town Council is not only privileged but excited to host the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants (B.O.G.) at Ratu Cakobau Park on Friday.

Council chief executive officer Azam Khan said Ratu Cakobau Park was in tip-top condition to host the annual event.

“Nausori Town is privileged to host the B.O.G soccer tournament for the fifth time since the tournaments inception in 1978.

“We thank the Fiji Football Association in bringing the tournament to Nausori,” Khan said.

Parking facilities will be at various places including Sila Central and Coconut Park, with security provided.

Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar is urging fans to buy tickets early.

“We opened up ticket sales this morning (yesterday morning) but knowing our fans, they are likely to buy at the last minute,” Kumar said.

“However, I urge fans to buy now because they need to keep in mind the road works along the Suva-Nausori corridor.

“So if they don’t want to be late to the stadium and having to queue at the ticket booth, I suggest they buy their tickets early.”

Tickets are sold at the Nausori Town Council and Fiji Football Association in Vatuwaqa.

The INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants will start on Friday with Tailevu-Naitasiri and Lautoka playing the first game at 1pm.
