The Nemia Ratu captained Cuvu College Under-18 team is all set to make their debut in the Coke Zero Deans quarterfinals  at the ANZ Stadium, Suva this Saturday

The Nadroga school will play against defending champion Lelean Memorial School.

College principal Navneet Mishra said the team were doing well in their preparations.

“It’s a historical moment, a big achievement not just for the school but for the players and parents,”Mishra said,

Mishra said the school was keeping a strict discipline since the Western Zone competitions started.

“We’re doing normal preparation, not sacrificing academic time as the team only trains in the afternoon,” he added.

“It’s a do-or-die game and we need to do it right from the start.

“We have reminded them of the three values;  discipline, attitude and teamwork, If they can perform good on the field then they can perform well in the classroom as well.”

He thanked the principals of Nadroga /Navosa schools, Nadroga Rugby Union, parents, guardians for assisting the team financially. Meanwhile, Cuvu College play 14-time winners LMS  at 2.50pm, QVS face Marist Brothers High at 1.30pm and  Nasinu Secondary face RKS at 10.50am .
