Cuvu College Under-16 rugby team is adamant of a positive result in the Coke Zero Deans semifinals this Saturday at Govind Park, Ba.

Following their 18-8 victory over Marist Brothers High School in the quarterfinals last Saturday head coach Tevita Gonewai said the focus was on Queen Victoria School this Saturday.

“The boys did an excellent job wining the game but the focus now is the semi finals next week.

“Marist gave us a good game and a run for our money and from the game played we have seen our weaknesses and will work on them,” Gonewai said.

“For Cuvu College to win in their first ever game in the Deans Quarter finals is a history for the school and the team.

Gonewai said the boys were always reminded on their roles when playing on field.

“We came with the right mindset and mentality and with the confidence the boys had within them was of great boost,” he added.
