Reason To Smile

An Opposition MP, who in another life was a civil servant, has finally received what he was owed thanks to the Government.

He has confided to close colleagues and family that he has just received a cheque of $18,000.

So if you see him grinning from ear to hear, you know why.

He deserves it because he had worked hard during those many years.

Skirting trouble

Rishi Ram – the failed National Federation Party candidate – should know better. Last heard he was wanting to know more about skirt journalism.

Seems like he has forgotten his debacle comments on women’s dressing. And to think he actually stood in the elections.

Wrong way

Talking about the taxi association. One executive member was dealt with a rather heavy hand and removed from the Association.

The other who was caught shooting his mouth continues to do so.

But then, the association is made up of a handful of taxi operators when we have some 7500 operators in the country. It could have been a better association if people were not busy protecting their own interests.
