Courts Fiji has opened a Cyber City in Lautoka yesterday to cater for growing interest in technology in the West.

Courts Cyber City is a dedicated IT, computer, phones and other gadgets store.

Chief Operation Officer, Hamendra Prasad, said the new store was in response to the demand in the western Division.

“However, this store also reflects the strong growth in computer-related sales in Fiji in these days,” he said.

Cyber City is located on the busy Naviti Street close to Courts Fiji’s existing store.

Mr Prasad stressed that the store is not just due to the popularity of their existing Cyber City in Darmodar City in Suva.

It is strongly based on the growing demands in Lautoka.

“Computers are an important part of our business and right now there’s a lot of demand for new technology,” he said.

“This shop is different than our entire branch in the Western Division because this is entirely dedicated to ICT.”

Mr Prasad said Courts Fiji Limited is one of the top three computer retailers nationally and this Cyber City is the living achievement of that.

“This is a one stop shop for those looking for laptops and the latest mobile phones,” said Mr Prasad.

The store also caters for office equipment in a dedicated department at the first floor.

Major computing brands such as Apple, Logitech, Samsung and Asus are available through the retail chain, which has stores in every town around Fiji.
