Seasea Misiki, 22, scooped a double victory yesterday.

Ms Misiki, who is sponsored by TKG Handicraft and Media Waves, was crowned the 2015 Digicel Bula Festival queen and also scooped the Miss Digicel Bula festival charity queen title.

She credited her success to her family and her strong Christian roots.

“I want to thank my beautiful family that has supported me all the way,”she said.

In the build-up to the crowning Ms Misiki had always maintained that her mother was her role model because she was the one that taught her first-hand what hard work really meant.

Her proud mother, Tokasa Misiki, could not hold back her tears as she embraced her daughter on stage during her crowning.

“I’m really proud of her and she’s been showing her talents ever since she was in high school,” she said.

“I think she deserved this win; it was a good platform to build her confidence and I thank God for giving her this opportunity.”

Meanwhile Miss FENC Fiji Tokasa Savu was the first runner-up for the Miss Charity title and Miss Laser Electric, Unaisi Sea was named Miss Personality.

The second runner-up for the Miss Bula category was Miss Clyde Acrow Vulatolu Bilitaki and first runner-up was Miss FBC Eleni Matatolu.
