Skipper Cup points table leader Jack’s Nadi will be out in full force against Namosi in the semifinal at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this Saturday.

And the side is dedicating this match to the late marketing director and assistant secretary Josevata Donu Rokotakala commonly known as Donu in the rugby circle.

The late Rokotakala was involved in a tragic road accident near Rakiraki last Friday afternoon where he lost his life with a colleague from FEA.

“It is really hard for us to believe what has happen, we have lost one of the vital members of the Organisation,” said Nadi rugby Union chairman Sekove Tuilakeba.

He said the late was actively involved in the affairs of the union, including securing sponsorship for the union, handled logistic for Nadi senior team and events co-ordinator for the team.

“On that note we had the meeting with the team management and team to dedicate this game for Donu,” he said.

“The team is ready to face Namosi and this is one of the motivations to work harder and to win this match. We know it will be a good challenge but as usual preparation, we a confident playing at home.”

The players will be wearing a black arm band on the game day.

Meanwhile, Nadi rugby union officials, players and the Nadi Referees Association presented their ireguregu to the family of late Rokotakala at Narewa village on Monday night.

“The players have been given the privilege to be pallbearers from  his residence to the church.” The funeral will be held on Friday at Narewa with the church service at 10am.

Meanwhile the Nadi and Namosi game will be held at 1pm while Suva takes on Nadroga at 3pm.
