Ratu Kadavulevu School under-18 rugby team wants nothing but a win in the Coca-Cola Zero Deans final at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Saturday.

RKS takes on Marist Brothers High School after a lapse of 20 years.  The two last met in 1985 where Ratu Kadavulevu won 8-4.

Principal Peni Senikarawa said they were hungry for their first Deans title since 2005.

“The main motivating factor here is the students wanting to win more given in the fact that is been a while,” Senikarawa said.

“It’s been 10 years now our cabinet has been without the Deans trophy.

“RKS team has prepared all passage of the game and the different structures set out by the coaches and this is the only way RKS can take out Marist,” he said.

“This is because they have prepared themselves in all aspects of the game whether it be kicking game, playing forwards or strength in the set pieces or any where RKS is ready for the game on Saturday.”

The boys from Delainakaikai are ready to deliver a well structured game.

“We had hoped to get in to the finals and now preparation has started from day one till now.

“This depends on the boys when they take the field and everything is been structured for them to take on the Marist forwards whether they play it in the forwards or the back line,” he added.

Lodoni will dwell in the present and deliver the positives.

“We always dwell on the present and not on the past because the heron will always stay on its rock no matter what.”
