Better Ground for Suva Primary

Students of Suva Primary School were happy to receive their upgraded playing ground and sports equipment yesterday.
The handed-over was conducted by Bank South Pacific yesterday.
It was part of BSP’s Financial Banking Samabula-based community project with the Suva Primary Parents and Teachers Association. It cost $15,000.
School assistant headteacher Litia Daulakeba said the students now had a proper ground to play on.
“We are happy with the assistance and partnership from BSP,” Ms Daulakeba said. BSP’s Human Resources general manager Howard Politini, who was the chief guest in the hand over, said the upgrade funding came
from their community projects programme.
“This project allows children and adults to benefit from our social responsibility to communities that we serve,” Mr Politini said.
“We hope that our effort will foster good relations and teamwork through sports and other great values that enrich our children while they are at school,” he said.
