Keeping your families secure is a way of strengthening relationship with God, says former Methodist Church President Reverend Ilaitia Tuwere during the church service yesterday at Nabua Methodist Church.

“It is important to know God and strengthen our relationship with Him as this would lead to a prosperous life,” he said.

Rev Tuwere, during his sermon, further stressed on youths finding and maintaining a good relationship with God.

“Parents teach your children well and guide them; worship God and you will find peace and hope,” he said.

“We see changes every day and with these we need God to guide us and therefore we need to connect with him and know him well,” he said.

Meanwhile former school teacher at Auckland Wesley College Jeremaia Tagicakibau reminded the children to listen to their parents and value their teachings and they would never go wrong in life.

“Do not use your rights against your parents’ teachings; always value their existence for they brought you up and always worship God in order to become successful in life,” he said.
