Frantic and intense lobbying by rival SODELPA groups over a confidential report has plunged the party deeper in crisis.

A SODELPA Opposition caucus meeting scheduled yesterday was postponed to this morning to discuss the row.

The report has been critical of Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa and others plus the Opposition Office.

It wants Ro Teimumu to resign and others who work with her in the office.

The dispute  has split the party into two groups, those who support RoTeimumu and others who want an inquiry into the report.

Those already identified to be with Ro Teimumu are: Opposition Whip Ratu Isoa Tikoca, Viliame Gavoka, Salote Radrodro, Jiosefa Dulakiverata, Ratu Sela Nanovo.

On the Opposite side are: Semesa Karavaki, Ro Kiniviliame Kiliraki, Mosese Bulitavu, Aseri Radrodro and Mikaele Leawere.

What the SODELPA Party members and MPs who were interviewed yesterday said and their reaction:

Anare Vadei: I have been out of the office now working on this petition that Viliame Gavoka tabled regarding the technical college. I need to get back to the office and get more information about this report.

Semesa Karavaki: I reserve my views for me only. I am a very private person.

Ratu Seka Nanovo: We don’t speak to the Fiji Sun.

Ratu Isoa Tikoca: We have discontinued communication with you guys because of your unfairness.

Salote Radrodro : Please email me questions. I am driving right now. (No response had been received to questions sent)

Ratu Suliano Matanitobua: : I have been in the village, we came down today. We’ll meet tomorrow about this but right now I have no comments to make.

Ro Teimumu Kepa: She hung up and did not receive subsequent calls.

Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu: Is currently out of country.

Viliame Gavoka: I do not talk to the Fiji Sun.

Mikaele Leawere : Talk to the Oppposition Leader, or Mick Beddoes, especially Mick Beddoes.
