Five teams from Cakaudrove booked their spot in the 2015 Lewa Sewa Netters Inter-District Championship quarterfinals today.

Lewa Sewa Netters Association president Susana Liga was impressed with island teams.

“A surprise for us this year is Cakaudrove who is featured in five super quarterfinals and Kadavu who have two teams in the quarterfinal.

Suva and Cakaudrove dominated the competition in Labasa last year and Liga anticipated there would be more surprises in the final day today.

Cakaudrove meets Nadi II in U9, Nasinu Violet (U10), Ovalau/Moturiki(U11), Lautoka I(U12) and meets Northland in U13. The selectors are also scouting for 30 U11 and U12 players for the Australian tour later in the year. The games will continue with the Cup and senior quarterfinals.
