The Under-11 and U13 Peoples Community Network sponsored Suva Blues won their grades for the first time in the Rewa Galaxy Kaji Rugby at the ANZ Stadium, Suva yesterday.

In the U11 grade, Suva beat Tailevu 14-7, while in the U13 grade Suva won 10-0 beating Cakaudrove.

Coach for U11 Nasoni Tuinaceva said, “We’ve been together since we were in the U9 grade and this win is something we always dreamed about”.

“The boys were  determined and  worked hard. The bonding between the players was incredible, they trusted each other. We give credit to Tailevu for making us work hard.”

Meanwhile, U13 coach Timoci Koroi said their win was a perfect send off for players who will be going to secondary school next year.

“It’s shows that hard work pays off,” Koroi said.

“This is a special win for us because most of the boys are in year Eight.

“These boys started out from Under-9 and have not experienced a win before. This a good finish. “

Koroi thanked and commended the players because they were the ones who secured a win.

Meanwhile, PCN Suva Whites took out the U12 grade beating Nasinu 14-0.
