Vodafone Flying Fijians wing Nemani Nadolo aims to step up at the 2015 Rugby World next month.

After a good season in the Super Rugby with the Crusaders, Nadolo is looking forward to his first RWC.

It was a special moment not only for Nadolo but also for his first cousin Tevita Kuridrani who was also named in the Australia 31-man squad alongside Henry Speight last Thursday.

“This is huge for me and definitely a proud moment for my family. I know everyone back at home will be proud,” Nadolo said.

“Not only me but also for Tevita Kuridrani.

“I’ve been working really hard in the last four years to play in the RWC. I missed out in 2011 and this year I worked hard to earn my spot in the team.”

It will be a different feeling as the two cousins face off at Millenium Stadium in Cardiff on September 24 but Nadolo believes hard work starts now as the fight for the first 15 begins.

“There’s definitely going to be a lot of hype in the team, I’m just concentrating to make it into that first 15,” he said. Nadolo missed out in the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup because of injury but it’s not over yet for the Namatakula, Nadroga man as he works towards making his country proud next month.

“It’s good that you have been recognised but the job has just started.

“We got to work hard because I don’t want to disappoint anyone.”
