Savirio Matairakula is expecting a tough competition in the last round of the Vodafone Cup pool competition this weekend.

The Fiji National Rugby League eastern development officer made the comment after the competition last weekend,

“The teams are fighting for a spot in the finals,” he said.

“Competition has been very tough and the final round will be much tougher.

“We would like to ask fans to come out and support their teams.

“The weather has been unfavourable for the last couple of days but we are just keeping our fingers crossed for a fine weather this weekend.”

Results: Top 8: Nabua Broncos 10-12 Dee Cees Nadera Panthers, Fair Trade Makoi Bulldogs 10-4 Pacific Energy Kinoya Sea Eagles.

U18: Nair Davuilevu Knights 18-6 Dee Cees Nadera Panthers.

U16: Nair Davuilevu Knights WBDVs Makoi Bulldogs (LBD), Pacific Energy Kinoya SEa Eagles 2-28 Dee Cees Nadera Panthers.

Reserve Grade: AFL Puma Davuilevu Knights 20-18 Makoi Bulldogs; U18-Makoi Bulldogs 8-12 Pacific Energy Kinoya Sea Eagles.
