Rewa’s INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants (B.O.G) celebration was a reflection of how hard they need to work if they want to stay at the top.

Head coach Marika Rodu said they had set the platform for themselves.

“The celebration is about all the hard work put in by everyone,” Rodu said.

“It is good to finish off the 2014/2015 season well and see how we can improve for the future.

“We have set the benchmark for next season and every competition becomes a challenge for us.”

“Everyone now knows we’re a good team and the aim now is to keep the momentum going and work our way up.”

Meanwhile, Vodafone Fijian U20 coach and chief guest at the event Frank Farina said Rewa was moving in the right direction.

“I’m very proud of the four Under-20 players in the national side and Rewa is making good strides,” Farina said.

“They have got their academy and everything is working well as far as development is concerned.”

Rewa won the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants after beating favourites Ba 2-0 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.
