One day to go before the judges decide who will be crowned Miss Vodafone festival of the Friendly North 2015.

Yesterday, the contestants had the chance to visit the Labasa Sugar Mill led by Miss Fiji Sugar Corporation queen contestant, Angylishna Asha.

Mr Zaid Engineering Patrick Rasuga said the visit gave him the chance to know more about the industry and its benefits to the economy.

“Being sponsored by Zaid Engineering gave me an opportunity to visit other business houses that contribute a lot not only to Labasa’s development but the country as a whole,” Mr Rasuga said.

Same sentiments were shared by Miss Vision Motors Shayal Sharma.

“This is my first visit to the mill and it was an eye-opener,” Miss Sharma said. The contestants also visited Adi Laisa Park where the Labasa gym is located.

The gym is one of the Festival Committee’s projects.
