The Nemani Nagusa-captained BLK Nadroga side will be testing their armoury against Nadi in the first HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy Challenge at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, today.

The hard working flanker said their aim was to retain the title this year.

“The Farebrother Tophy is important for Nadroga Rugby.

“We are ready to defend the title at home,” Nagusa said.

He said the team would bank on their forward pack.

“I guess the Skipper Cup competition has prepared us well, but playing the Farebrother is a different story.

“We have been reminded to stay focused on the game and maintain discipline,” Nagusa added.

The forward pack have the services of  Telecom Fijian Warriors prop Seru Cakobau, Ilaisa Leca, Setefano Somoca, Sailosi Dawai, Sekonaia Kalou, Nagusa, Apisai Moimoi and robust Eremasi Radrodro.

Bolstering the backline are Sakiusa Gavidi, Alivereti Veitokani, Apisalome Waqatabu, Samuela Cava, Ifereimi Tovilevu, winger Joeli Lutumailagi and ace kicker Tikilaci Vuibau at fullback.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Trophy challenge will see Yasawa playing Ba at 11am, Malolo versus Nadroga U23 at 1pm and HFC Farebrother Trophy Challenge  Nadroga against Nadi at 3pm.
