The Methodist Church held a farewell service yesterday to mark the end of its Annual Conference at the Centenary Church in Suva.

Church general secretary Reverend Epineri Vakadewavosa thanked the members of the church for their efforts in making the conference a success and for taking out time from their busy schedule to be part of the conference.

“We have achieved so much in this conference,” Reverend Vakadewavosa said.

“Thank you for taking out your wealth and time investing them in our church conference,” he said.

“God will richly bless all you for giving your life for the church.”

More than a 500 church members from around the country were present at the service.

Meanwhile, on behalf of the church, Reverend Vakadewabuka also farewelled 60 long-serving church ministers.

He thanked the now retired church ministers for their services towards the church and hearing God’s call.

“Serving God has more blessings than what the world can give and you have save lives through your touch,” the Reverend said.
