Captain ‘Confident’

The Vodafone Flying Fijians are beaming with confidence against 2015 Rugby World Cup opponents England, Wales, Australia and Uruguay.
Skipper Akapusi Qera says the players are ready to show the world a new brand of Fijian Rugby.
“The players have combined very well and cannot wait to represent the country in the rugby World Cup,” the Lakeba, Lau, rugger said.
“We all know it is an important call and we have individually taken this responsibility of moving Fiji forward. This is the right time and we are in a special pool which includes three big teams. We are looking forward to the challenge as we have been tagged as an underdog and hope things goes our way.”
The John McKee coached – side has already been rated highly by rugby pundits around the globe.
The predictions included former Wallaby flanker George Smith who has already put his money on the Flying Fijians to accompany the Wallabies to the elimination round.
“We have had good reviews and he (George Smith) said what we can do and control in this tournament,” Qera said.
Another forward and Flying Fijians sensation Peceli Yato who will mark his maiden RWC campaign say he is looking forward to his first in England.
“I guess it is all rugby players dream to represent their respective nations but with this team it is expedited to be special one for all of us,” he said.
