The Vodafone Flying Fijians spent a night in Seoul, South Korea on Monday night in transit to London.

The John McKee-coached side left for London at 12:30pm (local Korea time) yesterday and hopes are high in the side for a positive Rugby World Cup campaign.

Fiji is pooled alongside England, Wales, Australia and Uruguay in Pool A and captain Akapusi Qera said it was the pool of opportunities.

“This is a huge responsibility for us especially grouped in a pool of death but it is an opportunity for us to prove ourselves.

“We just need the nations support in this 2015 RWC campaign,” Qera said.

Known as ‘Q’ says they will survive the pool of death and progress further to the quarterfinals.

“Our brotherhood is strong in the side and we are looking forward to a successful tournament,” he added,

The Vodafone Flying Fijians play England in their first match on September 19 at 7am (Fiji time).
