No case has been registered with the International Court of Justice regarding Fiji despite claims by Australian anti-Fijian Government agitator Mereoni ‘Oni’ Kirwin.

This has been confirmed by the IJC’s Information Department.

Matuku-born Ms Kirwin, who has been linked to the so-called Christian state movement here, has repeatedly claimed a case had been filed at the court.

Information

The court’s information officer Boris Heim confirmed to the Fiji Sun no such case was officially filed.

Mr Heim also provided a list of all cases that have come before the ICJ or are pending before the court.

All cases that come before ICJ deal with disputes between countries.

Ms Kirwin, believed to be currently resident in Sydney, has been claiming on Facebook that she has hired lawyers and papers had been filed against the Fijian Government.

Ms Kirwin herself is now a person of interest here in continuing Police investigations into the current sedition cases. She is on the ‘black list” watch with Immigration authorities.

Questions are also increasingly being asked about who she has been working with here and who she met during her visit this year.

Police investigations are far from over.
