Vodafone Flying Fijians head coach John McKee was impressed with the support from the Army base at Aldershot in England.

“The British Army rugby club has been extremely helpful to us, they were very hospitable providing all the facilities to us.

“We must thank them for catering on our lunches and also the boys enjoyed meeting up with the Fijians here in the army, there were number out there showing their support during our training and our team building session,” McKee said.

The Akapusi Qera-captained side enjoyed their team building session at the Army base.

“We had our team building session at the base where the new recruits go through their basic training.

“The team building session was to develop some leadership to develop some leadership and decision making skills amongst the players that were conducted by the Army trainers,” he said.

Earlier in the day the side had a unit session with Georgia where the different departments such as forwards and backs rectified few areas.

“Our forwards had some gruelling session with the Georgia forwards in the scrummaging and lineouts and also our backline also worked with Georgia’s backline on set plays, defence and set piece moves,” he said.
