Suva Rugby Union looks forward to an exciting RC Manubhai Escott Shield final between Army and Navy rugby clubs tomorrow night at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

SRU secretary Mitieli Waqa said the team from the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Delainabua would come out strong.

“We are expecting a big turnout from the supporters of the two teams, Army and Navy, this Saturday,” he said.

“Army has revenged their 2014 loss to Police last week making it through to the final this Saturday and will definitely be in top form against Navy.

“They have brought in all their best players this year to try and win the Escott Shield and on other side Navy will also leave no stone unturned and will give the Army side a good game.”

The SRU hopes for a good crowd turnout.

“We are hoping that the finals will be up to the spectator’s expectations,” Waqa said.

“Just like in previous years we are hoping for a successful finish in this season.”

The final between Army Green and Fresh’et Navy will kick-off at 7pm tomorrow.
