RFMF Wins Boxing
Republic of the Fiji Military Forces won the 2015 ANZ Ratu Sukuna Bowl boxing tournament at the FMF Gymnasium last night.
The boys from Delainabua won four gold, three silver and four bronze medals to dethrone defending champions the Fiji Police Force who settled with three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
Acting RFMF Commander Commodore Viliame Naupoto said boxing was one sport that we’ve been losing all these years and I am so happy for the win.
“We started off with a win in golf and now its boxing, two down and a few more to go until Friday (tomorrow) and our aim was to win from the very beginning.
“The momentum has carried through and I know with this win it will boost other teams to play and win the game,” Commodore Naupoto said.
